PRICESS MOON

Once upon a time there was an old man and his wife. Their names were Chifuyu Omma and Kimiko. They were diligent farmer.  They had no children.  They desired to  have some, but it was not given yet. Everyday Chifuyu and his wife went to the bamboo grove to look  for bamboo shoots.  Where he found a bamboo tree illuminated in the middle part. He was surprised and told about it tohiswife:

“ Honey, closer, please. Look at this!”

“What’s up,  Dad?” replied his wife

“I found  an extraordinary bamboo.”

“What’s strange?”

“I ‘m sure there something in it.” Let’s see.

Then Kimiko carefully cut the bamboo. To his surprised  hefound a pretty inside it.

O…unbelievable!.  A baby.  We’ve been waiting for it, and now she comes! Thanks God.

Then they brought her back to their home, and they  made up their baby to aise this baby as a gift from God. They named her Kaguya  Hime.

After several years had elapsed, the baby grew up  as a young and beautiful lady in her town.  Everyone recognized her because of her beauty and gracefulness.  Many gentlemen would propose to marry her.

My dear  kid,  many gentlemen had come to propose you. But…. Why don’t you choose one of them? I think  Jacky Chan,  Yamato are handsome and wealthy.

 but Kaguya Hime  answered nothing. She  became sad and was crying everyday. Their parents could not understand why and could not get her daughter to answer.

On a full moon night, she decided to tell why she was crying .”

“Mom,  I’m so sorry.  It’s really hard for me, but I have to tell you the truth.’

“ It’s time for me to leave home.”

Daddy, thank you for your love. Actually I don’t want  back.

To leave?” Where?” This  your home. We are your parents. We love you.”

“I’m not an ordinary girl, Mom.” It’s impossible for me  to live with you forever.   Please let me go now. I have no longer  time.   

Then Kaguya Hime flew to the moon and disappeared.

In the morning when  the mother got up, she was surprised. She found that Kaguya Hime was really disappeared.
